is to confirm The Mullet Press conforms to the Data Protection Act 1998 as
laid down by the Information Commissioner.
The Mullet Press are bound by certain specific restrictions, in addition to
our own good practice policy.

accidental loss or destruction of personal data.

Information Collection and Use
The Mullet Press is the sole owner of the information collected on this
site. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in any way
different from what is disclosed in this statement. The Mullet Press
may collect information from our users at several different points on our
website.
Registration
You are welcome to look through this website without registering any
details, however, should you wish to contact us, or place an order, we do
request some details in order that we may either answer your contact
questions or to confirm order details (see next paragraph for further
details about ordering). Some of the details which we ask for are at your
discretion, but others are required to avoid duplication and confusion in
our data records. For instance your name and email address are required for
contact purposes, but unless you are ordering stationery we do not require
other details, however, to give you a more personalised service, we ask that
you consider filling in as much detail as you can (for instance, how you
heard of The Mullet Press, your postal/shipping address,
telephone/fax/mobile, etc.)
Ordering
We do request information from the user on our order form. Here a user must
provide contact information (like name and shipping address) and financial
information (like credit card number, expiry date). This information is used
for billing purposes and to fill customers' orders. If we have trouble
processing an order, this contact information is used to get in touch with
the user.
Cookies
The Mullet Press DO NOT use cookies at this time. A cookie is a piece of
data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user.
(Cookies are often used by companies to, for instance, save the user time by
only having to log in a password once, therefore on returning to the site,
the password is held in the user's computer by the cookie and is not
required to be re-typed).
Counting Visitors
The Mullet Press does keep a count of the number of visitors who enter the
site, but this is in no way linked to any personally identifiable
information.
Sharing
The Mullet Press does not share any of the information gathered from its
website with any advertisers or parties outside The Mullet Press, unless
this information is required to fill an order or orders, in which case a
credit cards processing company may be used to bill users for goods and
outside shipping company to ship the order or orders.

This website does not at present contain any links to other website. In
future we may provide such links, but please be aware that The Mullet Press
are NOT responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We
encourage our users to be aware of this when they leave our site and to read
the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally
identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to
information collected by this Web site.
Newsletter
The Mullet Press may produce a newsletter to be sent via email or in printed
form, to users. Should you wish to subscribe to our newsletter, which would
be sent from time to time, we ask for contact information such as name and
email address. Please see our choice and opt-out below.
Tell-A-Friend
Up until very recently, the overwhelming majority of names on The Mullet
Press database came from personal referrals. If a user elects to use our
referral service for informing a friend about our site, we ask them for the
friend's name and email address. The Mullet Press will send the friend a
one-time email inviting them to visit the site or a letter with a brochure
or catalogue. The friend may contact The Mullet Press at security@themulletpress.co.uk
to request the removal of their information from the database.
Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users' information. When
users submit sensitive information via the website, your information is
protected both online and off-line. When our registration/order form asks
users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that
information is encrypted and is protected. While on a secure page, such as
our order form, the lock icon on the bottom of Web browsers such as Netscape
Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer becomeslocked, as opposed to
un-locked, or open, when you are just 'surfing'. If you have any questions

Special Offers
Occasionally, The Mullet Press will send all customers and stationery
contacts (ie people who have not ordered from The Mullet Press, but have
given address/email details) an email to inform them of products, services,
special deals, and a newsletter. Out of respect for the privacy of our users
The Mullet Press presents the option to not receive these types of
communications. Please see our choice and opt-out below.
Site and Service Updates
The Mullet Press also sends the user site and service announcement updates.
The Mullet Press communicate with the user to provide requested services and
in regards to issues relating to their account via email, telephone or post.
Correction/Updating Personal Information:
If a user's personally identifiable information changes (such as your zip
code), or if a user no longer desires our service, The Mullet Press will
endeavour to provide a way to correct, update or remove that user's personal
data provided to us. This can usually be done at the "Contact us"
page or by emailing john@themulletpress.co.uk.

If The Mullet Press decides to change its privacy policy, notification of
those changes will be posted our Homepage so our users are always aware of

collected, we will notify users by way of an email. Users will have a choice
