Typefaces
These are our ten main typefaces but are a small selection that are
available. They are in no particular order. Should you have something
else you prefer, please send or fax us a copy and we will try to match
as best we can.

M1
CASLON OPEN FACE
Good
as a large font for headings but not so easy on the eye for small headings
for paper or postcards.

M2
ENGRAVERS INLINE
Can
be litho printed or engraved as the name suggests, for best results, but
unless a smooth stock is used the effect can be lost. Not suitable for
thermography.
Only available in capital letters- no lowercase.

GARAMOND ROMAN
A
very elegant serified typeface in either capitals or caps and lowercase.

M4
GOUDY OLD STYLE ROMAN
An
old favourite for headed paper and cards. Clear and kind on the eye.

M5
NEW BASKERVILLE ITALIC
Ideal
for headed paper and correspondence cards.

M6
PALACE SCRIPT
Mainly
used for invitations (capitals side by side,
e.g. postcodes, must be
avoided but please ask us for our "work around" on this)

SHELLEY ANDANTE
Very
popular for invitations but, as with Palace Script, side by side capitals
are very difficult to read.

OPTIMA
Very
clear modern typeface.Good for thermography.

CHARLEMAGNE
A
very popular recent addition to our "top ten". Only available in
big and small capitals.

BERKLEY BOOK
Another
old favourite. Generally printed in uppercase only but very smart in upper
and lower case.
